There are many veterans who need assistance in securing a bright and sustainable future after service - and is a charity dedicated to providing just that.

It offers life-changing support for wounded, injured and sick former servicemen and women within the exciting and challenging world of commercial aviation.

The opportunities offered by Wings For Warriors (WFW) are made possible thanks to a network of sponsors and supporters, who allow the charity to provide commercial flight training opportunities to veterans completely free of charge.

This process isn鈥檛 about a short-term challenge, as each individual is armed with the tools they need to achieve a rewarding and sustainable future while rebuilding confidence, pride and a sense of belonging.聽

Graduates from this process must be commercially employable, so are therefore trained to the highest possible standard and WFW do not use specially-adapted aircraft.

This puts a focus on the ability of the veteran to overcome their injuries, adapt themselves and demonstrate 100 per cent commitment to earning a new future in the sky.
